Pinterest men’s trend report 2026 – wolf cuts, three-step skincare and signature scents

Wolf cuts, three-step skincare and signature scents take over in Pinterest’s 2026 men’s trend report

Searches for soft wolf cuts are up more than 1,100%, men’s skincare products are up 280% and “signature scent” is climbing fast, according to Pinterest’s new 2026 men’s trend report

Men are using Pinterest differently, and grooming is one of the clearest places to see it. In its latest men’s trend report, titled The intentional man, the platform says men’s searches are up 17% year on year, with Gen Z men now making up more than 62% of male monthly searches.

The common thread is intent. Rather than chasing a dozen new products, men are searching for repeatable routines, sharper haircuts and a single scent they can call their own. Here’s what the data says, and where it overlaps with what we cover at MBman.

Men’s skincare is being stripped back to three steps

Pinterest describes a pared-back daily baseline built on cleanser, moisturiser and SPF. Searches for “sunscreen for men” are up 108%, “men’s skincare” is up 165% and “men skincare products” is up 280%, while “minimalist face wash” is up 45%.

There’s appetite for the finishing touches too. “Red light mask” searches are up 156%, “scalp care” is up 82% and “no makeup makeup look” has risen 217%, which suggests plenty of men want a polished face without it looking like effort.

If you’re building a routine from scratch, our guide to the men’s skincare routine and which grooming products you actually need is a good place to start. Oily skin is a common sticking point, so we’ve also put together a guide to men’s skincare for oily skin. And if your scalp is the problem, read up on what causes dandruff and how to get rid of it for good.

Wolf cuts, perms and beard fades take over

Hair is where the numbers get big. Searches for “soft wolf cut men” are up 1,154%, “modern wolf cut men” is up 553% and “curly wolf cut men” is up 245%. Other cuts on the rise include the modern mullet (+223%), the Korean two-block (+212%), the shaggy cut (+79%) and the loose wavy perm (+228%).

Facial hair is getting the same attention. “Beard fade men” searches are up 764% and “Italian beard fade” is up 725%, with “facial harmony” up 31% as men look at how cut, beard and face shape work together.

Pinterest has also added a Hair Pattern search, which lets you filter inspiration by coily, curly, wavy, protective or shaved and bald styles, so the cuts you save actually suit your texture.

If you fancy the curls, here’s how to nail the male perm. If you’d rather keep things sharp, our step-by-step guide shows you how to cut your own hair with clippers and fade it at home. We’ve also covered how to keep a beard soft and itch-free, and how to prevent hair loss in men if a fuller cut is the goal.

The signature scent era

Fragrance is the third pillar. Searches for “fragrance wardrobe” are up 159%, “perfume discovery set” is up 167%, “men’s perfume collection” is up 113% and “signature scent” is up 111%, with “sandalwood scent” also climbing (+25%).

Pinterest frames scent as the finishing touch that makes a routine feel complete. The rise in discovery sets backs that up, since they let you try before committing to a full bottle. If that sounds like you, our round-up of the best advent calendars for men includes several fragrance-led options, including The Fragrance Shop and WHO IS ELIJAH calendars packed with miniatures.

Nails join the grooming routine

A smaller but notable trend is what Pinterest calls the hand check. Searches for “silver nails men” are up 87%, “black nails men” is up 75% and “chrome nails men” is up 58%, a sign that nail care and colour are moving into men’s grooming.

Offline hobbies, hosting and a new kind of uniform

Beyond grooming, the report points to men planning more time away from screens. “Offline hobbies” searches are up 551% and “no phone ideas” are up 581%, while “running club” is up 749% and Hyrox is up 193%. Padel tournaments (+103%), woodcarving ideas (+389%) and pottery handbuilding (+297%) are all climbing, as are home setups built for hosting, with “vinyl listening room” up 407% and “game night aesthetic” up 103%.

That focus on connection and wellbeing fits with the work of the barbers we’ve featured on getting men talking about mental health.

Style is following the same logic. “Workwear outfit men” is up 314%, “vintage workwear outfit men” is up 442% and “pink shirt outfit men aesthetic” is up 338%, with chains, cuffs and leather accessories doing much of the talking.

Pinterest has also teamed up with Native to promote its Well-Crafted collection for men, covering deodorant, body wash, haircare and lotion in simple formulas.
